still here

It has been a long time since I’ve posted anything here. What’s happened since then:

I graduated from Brooks.
I moved from California to Washington.
I started working as a photo stylist in Seattle.
I got a dog.
Last, and most importantly, I got engaged!

Yes, things are happening. Here’s a recent self-portrait. I have yet to get a good one with my pup…

adventure beckons

I’d like to formally announce that I’m relocating from California to beautiful Washington state in May! This month I’ll be done with my BA at Brooks Institute…how did the time go by so quickly? It’s been a life changing three years (almost…I’m graduating a little early). Getting a degree from a photography school was a somewhat unconventional life choice for me, but as of now I’d do it all over again – not only for the knowledge I gained, but also for the amazing people I’ve met!

I was in Washington a week ago – following are a few images I took from a little day trip to Hurricane Ridge in Washington’s Olympic National Park. Tim posted some amazing images from the day here.

new blog at a new location

I know this blog looks almost just like my old blog, but believe me, it’s way better ; )
I’m about to finish my new site with mobile compatibility – for now, it’s flash only and you can find it in the upper right corner of the navigation!

I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful and intimate beach wedding last month. Here are a couple shots from throughout the day:

(side note: this post-ceremony hug might have been the most genuinely joyful embrace I have ever seen…definitely brought a tear to my eye)

After the ceremony, we headed down the beach to catch the last of the light:
